The Big Idea
A watered down way of seeing faith and practice that is common in American Christianity today:
- Moralistic - only good people should be at church or a part of church. Good living is seen as abiding by a set of rules to basically “be nice.”
- Therapeutic - I should just be made to feel good and happy by my faith
- Deism - god is not super involved in creation but god just wound up the clock and let the world work mechanically from there on out.
Definitly what Attraction Model churches end up pushing.
