But we do not fight for ourselves. Because God’s wrath while it destroys is also a form of creation. Like pulling the weeds out from a garden so that the garden can grow. God knows what things need to be pulled out.
We are more like the kids that run through the garden and think we are being helpful but end up pulling up the prized tulips
Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” - Romans 12:19
God is the creator and we are not. We therefore wait for his power to recreate the world
He does that for us within the church where life is set up in a different way.
