🌿Sapling ✒️Poem

A story without teeth won’t do anything much. Just like a knife without an edge, Or a nail without a point.

But a story with teeth bites deep into the heart. Yet though the teeth be sharp and the edge cut deep, If the wounds they reveal are beautiful and real, Then there you’ll find something worth shouting loud and clear.

An innocent man goes willingly to die. The only pure man bitten by a snake, With iron teeth piercing hands and feet. But the blood of the man drowns the snake, And out of its loose coils slowly stretch satan’s slaves. Each washed - not drowned - by that same precious blood.

A story without teeth won’t do anything much. But this story has teeth to keep changing my heart.
