Maybe an interesting metaphor for reliance on tech vs connection and attunement to natural rhythms and created order
early Christian burial with east would be interesting also the orientation of sanctuaries
also the fact that even Solomon’s dedication of the temple was very clear that the temple in all its glory was still just a foot stool for God Who actually lives in his heavenly temple
Also need to keep in mind the warning of false worship and how that got to be embodied by facing east and worshiping the sun even within the temple.
